Admission through Quota 1 and Quota 2
In Denmark, you can apply for admission through two quotas: Quota 1 and Quota 2. The main difference is how your application is assessed.
Quota 1: Admission Based on Grade Point Average (GPA)
In Quota 1, study places are allocated based on your grade point average (GPA) from your qualifying education.
Your GPA must be equivalent to at least 5.0 on the Danish grading scale.
Meeting this requirement does not guarantee admission. If there are more qualified applicants than available study places, applicants with the highest GPAs will be offered admission.
Quota 2: Admission Based on an Admission Interview
In Quota 2, applicants are assessed based on an admission interview. Study places are offered to applicants with the highest test scores.
All applicants are eligible to participate in the admission interview.
If you meet the GPA requirement for Quota 1, participation in the interview is optional. However, we encourage you to participate, as it provides an additional opportunity for admission and may improve your chances of being offered a study place.
